I'll spare you the details and give you the short version:  I wielded a mean crayon in my early days back in the Bronx, but made the quantum leap to Mac graphics at my first art studio job in 1990, and have been working as a digital artist ever since. My previous work experience includes seven years in ad agencies as a Mac production artist, a season at MTV Animation, and numerous on- and off-site freelance art and animation jobs. For the last few years, I've been working from my apartment studio in Manhattan, but when I'm not cranking away at the drawing table or stuck in front of the computer, I'm probably re-stringing my bass for another bar gig with one of my three cover bands, Almost Famous, Air Dogs, and Tighty Whitey, which perform regularly in the NYC area and on the road.

I have extensive experience in Flash animation, advertising and editorial illustration, character design, comps and concept work, toy and game packaging, comic books, online games, t-shirts, stickers -- all that fun stuff! Much of which is available at my online store, Kenny K's tattoos, t-shirts and stickers. Need a bunch of custom shirts, stickers, temporary tattoos, buttons etc.? Send me an email, or give me a call --

I'm usually going for a slick-but-funky urban style in my work, but I also enjoy doing the really cool retro/classic comic book and anime styles, and I'll mimic other recognizable looks occasionally, as you can see from some of the samples on my site; speaking of which, there's a lot more material in the archives than you'll see here, so if you're looking for something in particular that's not there, feel free to ask me, I might have it.

For Flash animation projects, I'm a self-contained, one-man multimedia studio, and can handle all aspects of a given job from start to finish. Unless otherwise provided by the client, I do all my own music and audio production, using a combination of live instrumental tracks, audio loops, sound effects, and recorded dialogue.
